Nestled in the beautiful Purity Spring Resort amidst tall pines and a quaint New England style setting is King Pine Ski Area.

With 17 trails (eight at night) and slopes covering 45 skiable acres, King Pine has something for everyone.

From the gentle, sheltered slopes of Crooked Pine to the steep, expert drops of Pitch Pine, you will find a trail to suit your style.

Cross-country skiers will enjoy 28 kilometers of groomed and tracked trails. For example, Sunset Beach Road is a gentle country road with rolling terrain and is great for kids. Birches Trail is a hilly aggressive trail challenging the best of skiers through a stand of birches.

King Pine's PSIA-certified Ski School is dedicated to keeping families skiing together.

The Base Lodge houses a rental shop, nursery, cafeteria and lounge for apres-ski.

To get to King Pine Ski Area from Boston, take I-95 to Portsmouth, N.H., then take the White Mountain exit to Spaulding Turnpike (becomes Route 16). Take Route 16 north to Center Ossipee, take Route 25 east (5 miles) to Route 153 north (6 miles).
