Frost Fire Mountain - North Dakota
Winter is truly a phenomenon in northeastern North Dakota. Carved into the heavily wooded Pembina Gorge is an alpine ski area.
Frost Fire is seven miles west of Walhalla on Highway 55 and has gained widespread popularity throughout North Dakota, Minnesota and Canada. The beautiful Pembina Gorge forms the impressive backdrop for Frost Fire.
Walhalla has always had a lot of snow. After a ski day at Frost Fire, unwind and kick up your heels in the easy going atmosphere of the second oldest town in the state.
Easy to get here... hard to leave.
