The Sapphire Valley Ski slopes are an integral part of a 5,700-acre four-season resort nestled in a pristine mountain valley high in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains, with an average elevation of 4,300 feet. In keeping with the natural serenity of Sapphire Valley, the lift lines are rarely longer than eight minutes. This atmosphere provides the perfect setting for families seeking quality time together.

Sapphire Valley offers ski & snowboard lessons & distinctly affordable rates, including special discounts for groups. The base lodge has a rustic mountain style complete with a stone fireplace, snack bar/restaurant, and ski clothing shop. In just one day, the basics of skiing or snowboarding can be learned from our excellent core of instructors.

Located just a couple hours from Atlanta and Knoxville, Sapphire is a true hidden gem of Carolina winter fun.
