Woodbury Ski Area - Connecticut
Woodbury Ski Area is a unique year-round outdoor recreational facility located in the Southern Litchfield Hills. Woodbury is a smaller family oriented mountain offering 100% snowmaking and grooming. Woodbury Ski Area has downhill skiing with a new mogul/bumps run, snowboarding on a new snowboarding trail with two redesigned half-pipes and a new quarter pipe, and sledding and tubing including a new sledding and tubing park with dedicated lift. Woodbury has cross-country skiing with lights, snowmaking, and grooming as well.
Woodbury was one of the first ski areas to promote and allow snow boarding in the country. There is a specially designed snow board trail 1/2 mile long with jumps for shredding. Challenging for beginners to experts with snowmaking and lights.
Woodbury Ski Area not only offers these activities, but convenience affordability and choice as well. Woodbury is close by- only 90 minutes from New York City, 45 minutes from New Haven or Hartford and 25 minutes from Danbury.
